Round 1 of the Queen City Weekly #2 was battled out in silence Friday Night, March 28, 2008, at the Asian Herald Library. The QCCA is proud to add two new members to the army. Todd Trower and David Collins
On board 1 Joshua Mu (1870) created complications and got the best of Gary Newsom (2028)
On board 2 Dominique Myers (1787) was able to make a simple position mind boggling and prevailed against Dan Liu (2000)
On board 3 Samuel Xin (1991) continued his wrath as he rolled over Peter Giannatos (1778)
On board 4 Ulugbek Ergashev (1401) clobbered newcomer David Collins (1291)
On a side note: Congratulations to SAMUEL XIN as he cracked the 2000 rating barrier this past weekend at the Fake Copper Blanket XX. Keep on the great work Samuel.
Todd Trower, Mike Eberhardinger, Linus Whitlock, were also among the crowd Friday night.
