CMSCA is hosting our 1st annual 8-man section Swiss Open on May 26th at Vance High School. This tournament is open to both scholastic and adult players. There will be a $50.00 cash prize for 1st place and $20.00 for 2nd place in each 8-man section (paired by USCF ratings). After Round 1 of the 3 round tournament, the CMSCA instructors will face off once again in a Blitz Competition to see if anyone can take the 'chess belt' away from our current champion, John Lane. Don't miss this exciting event! Join us for the day of great chess and fun as we wrap up another very successful year of chess in our community.
